The Gathering Inn meets people experiencing homelessness where they are, cultivating hopeful self-dependence through life skills education and community accountability. Residents are paired with case managers to achieve sustainable housing.

Your independently-verified impact:
A $760USD donation covers ALL costs to provide a month of stable housing for a formerly homeless person or family (Source: Charity Navigator).

1. Wayside Christian Mission very cost-effectively provides temporary housing. It also offers the food, clothing, spiritual enrichment, encouragement, and referrals needed for clients to return to a state of self-sufficiency.

For charity initiatives achieving a Strong or better rating for Budget Transparency/Efficiency and Relative Need, but not for Impact Evidence (in descending rating order):

1. Durham Rescue Mission provides food, shelter, and restoration services to homeless men, engaging the whole person through a Christian approach.

2. Waterfront Rescue Mission helps men overcome addiction with 90-day intensive educational and strong accountability programs. It also assists clients toward necessary temporary and sustainable permanent housing.
